Prince William and Duchess Kate are honouring some of Britain's youth! On Thursday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took to social media to make a special post for World Photography Day that showcases young people's submissions for the Hold Still project.
William and Kate recognize "talent, creativity, and curiosity" of youth
William and Kate explained why they chose to share these images specifically. "Photography has an amazing ability to create a lasting record of what we have all experienced & are experiencing," they said, mentioning that the images come from the "youngest finalists" for Hold Still.
The couple went on to commend the youth whose photos they shared for their "talent, creativity, and curiosity." They also acknowledged the fact that the National Portrait Gallery currently hosts the Hold Still exhibition, giving them a special thank you.
