It's barely six months the indigenous people unanimously took a drastic measures to end the killing and trading of cow meat in afikpo market's and it environs, as a result of the incessant killings and destruction of farm lands in the area. information gathered at the early hours of today by a HotunzBlog correspondence is that, they has troops in thousands at Uzo ugwuegu and vow not to leave, when they are confronted by an indigen.
Further information revealed that the indigenous people of afikpo declined responding to the legal action embarked by the HERDSMEN at Abuja.
A resident in the area said, The people has stood their ground on the ban of cow meat in the area, a source disclose to us that the Fulani herdsmen are those responsible for the death recorded during the weekend at ishielu and nkalagu parts of the state.
We are hereby putting the world on notice of the impending doom the Fulani are about to unleash to the well abiding people of afikpo and will do anything to defend our land against intruders because rearing of cows by foot has been banned by the South East Governors.
