President-elect of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov officially took office as head of state on Thursday.
The ceremony of his inauguration is broadcast live on the state TV channel of the republic. TASS.
Japarov read out the text of the oath, after which he was presented with a standard, a certificate and a president's badge in the hall of the Kyrgyz State Philharmonic Society.
The ceremony is attended by ex-heads of state Sooronbai Jeenbekov and Roza Otunbayeva, former speakers of parliament, presidential candidates who took part in the 2021 elections, parliamentary deputies, heads of ministries, diplomats accredited in the republic and CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas.
This time, the Kyrgyz authorities refused invitations to the inauguration of the leaders of foreign states and representatives of the media.
