Elizabeth II and her husband, Duke Philip of Edinburgh, were vaccinated against coronavirus

Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain and her husband, Duke Philip of Edinburgh, were vaccinated against the coronavirus. This is stated in the statement released on Saturday by Buckingham Palace.

“The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were vaccinated today with the coronavirus vaccine,” the report said. At the same time, it does not indicate which vaccine company received the British monarch and her husband. Currently, two drugs are used in the UK - the American company Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech, as well as the University of Oxford and the  British-Swedish company AstraZeneca.
