Trump signs 2021 budget

U.S. President Donald Trump has signed a 2021 budget that includes a $ 900 billion economic aid package in response to the coronavirus pandemic, the White House said.

The President signed the bill in its original form, providing for a payment of $ 600 per person, instead of the $ 2 thousand previously requested by Trump.

The economic aid package is part of the $ 1.4 trillion budget, which keeps the government running until September 2021. By agreeing to sign the document, Trump is believed to have secured the continuation of negotiations on additional economic assistance.

By agreeing to sign the document, Trump is believed to have secured an agreement that negotiations on additional economic assistance will continue.

Earlier, the president made a video message, in which he called it a "shame" and  criticized the budget for 2021 adopted earlier by both houses of Congress, part of which was a $ 900 billion economic aid package.

The bill, which had been negotiated for months between Democrats, Republicans and the Trump administration, would pay Americans $ 600 in economic aid. Trump criticized this amount and demanded a payment of $ 2,000 per person. Due  to Trump's refusal to sign the bill on Sunday night, payments under the previous aid package expired.
