MTN, Glo, Airtel, 9mobile the major mobile phone networks in Nigeria has release easy and quick steps for subscribers to register there National Identification Number NIN in there phone.
Following the order the Nigerian Communication Commission has giving for everybody that is using SIM cards to validate there registration by linking there NIN.
NCC has giving two weeks deadline until 30 December for telecommunication operators to block all customers that refuses to register there SIM cards with the National Identification Numbers.
You can check your National Identification Number NIN just by using USSD code on your phone.
The National Identity Management Commission ask Nigerians to use dial *346# to retrieve there NIN number.
The USSD code is available for customers that is use MTN, Airtel, 9mobile and Glo network.

- Mobile Number
- Full Name
- NIN Number (you can check code by using *346#)
- Email Address
- Date of birth.

Visit the Customer NIN Capture https://mtnonline.com/nin/
You will see the form and you fill in your full name.
Then put your MTN Mobile Number
Type your NIN
Fill in your email address
Then click on the button written 'SUBMIT'

- Click on the green space were is written 'verify and link your NIN now'
- Enter your mobile number and fill the requirements .
The Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy has order all network providers to cancel the N20 charge for there retrieval of the NIN wit immediate effect.
He said this will make the process easier and affordable.
this one mean that all Nigeria can check there NIN using there *346# for free.
