Tanzanian President John Magufuli is back again with another draconian law curtailing media freedom. The latest is that all radio and TV stations have been banned from airing content from international media outlets without permission, according to Tanzania's communication regulatory body that has to implement the new directive.
This directive comes barely three months before a crucial general election--that will be a test for Magufuli's presidency and waning popularity. Have your say!
