Sudan's public prosecutor has been investigating ousted President Omar al-Bashir

Sudan's public prosecutor has been investigating ousted President Omar al-Bashir on charges of money laundering and possession of large sums of foreign currency, according to sources.

Military intelligence reportedly searched Bashir's home and found suitcases loaded with more than six million euros, alongside five million Sudanese pounds. Bashir was ousted by the military on April 11 following months of protests against his rule and is also being sought by the International Criminal Court over allegations of genocide in the Darfur region. Do you think Bashir and members of his administration will be held to account?
