Princewill Obuka, National Leader of the
Biafra Nations Youth League, BNYL has been arrested along with 20 of his
supporters including the leader of Displaced Bakassi Youths, Linus Essien.
According to the Public Relations Officer of
BNYL, they were arrested January 16 in Ikang, Cameroon border area
adding that Obuka has been detained in State CID in Calabar without access to
communication.

The group has called for the release of its
leader even as the Deputy Leader of the group, Ebuta Agbor Takon has gone
underground.
Meanwhile no official statement has been
issued by the Police as to why they were arrested.
